LJC works on projects ranging from coastal restoration and flood protection to planning subdivisions and designing utility systems.
Since 1993, the firm has served a variety of clientele in Louisiana and the surrounding areas, including government agencies, industrial facilities,architects, engineers, developers, banking and other business entities and private individuals. Through the firm's experience, commitment and familiarity with the area, we strive to provide project designs that are a value for our clients, as well as being economically feasible. About Us
LJC was first incorporated in 1993 and is licensed by the Louisiana State Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board.
LJC utilizes a qualified staff that includes engineers, land surveyors, survey parties, CAD drafters, environmental professionals and administrative personnel. The firm provides and uses task-appropriate modern survey equipment such as Electronic Total Stations, G.P.S. receivers, Electronic Data Collection and processing, Civil 3-D and Auto Cad for preparation of survey data and design documents.
We work closely with other firms, contractors and engineers for efficient project coordination and timely project completion, providing both engineering and surveying services.
Our Services
We work with clients beginning with concept development and all the way through cost estimates and budgets;
design and preparation of construction documents, and construction layout and administration.
Civil Engineering
Our firm provide site analysis and planning, drainage studies and site design work, including utilities, sewer collection system, sewer treatment and paving improvements.
Surveying
Our surveying services include construction layout, pile layout, boundary and topographic surveys, hydrographic surveys and route.
Environmental
Some of the environmental services we typically provide include phase one studies, wetland delineations and regulatory permitting with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources
